When do Cruise Liners Continue Sailing Again?

Cruise ships were amongst the hardest affected business in the crisis.The cruise liner’s income has been down marginally 17 percent to $2.03 billion.Some of the cruising companies announced resuming their operation from the june but later the cruise lines has confirmed that delay for cruising is due to the ongoing travel and port limitations due to the global health safety issues. It's been three months since the industry shut down and still, more than 40,000 employees are stranded on cruises without payments, some of them are still recovering from COVID-19. 

The cruise companies reported a net loss of $1.4 billion, or $6.91 per share, paled in comparison to $249.7 million in net earnings and $1.19 in earnings per share in the very same quarter the year before.

As of now, major cruise lines operating large-scale cruises around USA and Europe, such as Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line and the  MSC Cruises , which may not be fully operational for several months.

Some of the cruising companies like the carnivals might get operational and restart the sailing from august 1.
